Ok we planned for rain a couple of days ago. We stacked the indoor events for today, so we hit the cathedral and the museum.
Here’s the big boy.

We bought a small replica of the window above. Now we have 3, all the same size: one from Notre Dame in Paris, one from Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, and now one from the Strasbourg cathedral.

I’m so excited! Every cathedral we’ve been to has something unique inside. This one’s claim to fame is a massive astronomical clock!

It tells the time… Everywhere on Earth! It shows your constellations, it shows your months, it shows what year it is! It’s got Roman gods chasing each other around, and of course it’s got Jesus! It’s wouldn’t be a clock in a cathedral if it didn’t mix in a little Jesus! This thing practically sells itself!
And now, in contrast, my watch, with a macarons for scale.
Here’s what I saw when I walked up. /200MB lol but totally worth it.
Moved on to the museum of art and archaeology, right around the corner. Most notable art is evil Jesus, from that Star Trek episode.

Immortal Keanu again? Clearly John Wick

And virgins. Great story here.

He got snakes and frogs all up his back. /Probably just misunderstood lol
Now we are out to get some food.

Not gonna lie, taters was the best part.
And for you non-believers, here’s what the rain that kept us in looked like..

Not sure if the day is over, but done with this for today.
