Day 9: A quick day in Basel, Switzerland

This is from our hotel balcony.. Cheryl booked us an amazing room, right at the center of one of the markets.
She is pouring fondue into a hallowed out baguette. You should have seen the look of delight in Mike’s eyes. Unfortunately he didn’t get to try it.

The Basel museum of history.

Well, well, well. These are old wells and fountains,
Something like a court house I am guessing.
Starbucks in Basel, their food is just a little different. I especially like the waffle as an option.
This is one of the trams that they have all over the city. I met the sweetest lady on one of our trips who very kindly helped us get to the Swiss train station vs the German train station.

Not much happened in Basel… We didn’t have time. We took the wrong train, and ended up across the city from where we wanted to be… We spent an hour looking for the post office… And of course, there was the French transportation strike.
